I help artists with acoustic music projects large and small, even very small.
Recording, mixing, editing, sweetening... Anything from to start-to-finish full album projects over months, to just a simple social media post. I I also do coaching with people on recording themselves, video content, gear questions, working in Logic Pro, etc.
Main interests are primarily solo, duo and trio formats of acoustic folk/trad, singer-songwriter, drummer-less acoustic jazz/blues, fingerstyle guitar, fiddle music, etc.
Signal chain often includes choices of beloved microphones like a matched pair of Schoeps Mk4 cardioids, or a pair of vintage AKG 414 B-ULS, Neumann TLM 49, ETL Delfina, a AEA R84a ribbon microphone... Four tracks of beautiful API pre-amplification. Sometimes subtle compressing on the way in via a particularly warm Empirical Labs Fatso. SSL conversion... Monitoring from Dynaudio and Focal.
